Project Manager – Construction (Sweden)

We are looking to hire a Romanian-speaking Project Manager – Construction to lead Romanian construction teams on long-term projects in Sweden. The role is hands-on and operational, focused on coordinating daily site activities and ensuring smooth execution of apartment renovation and construction works.

We already have an established team of Romanian workers relocating to Sweden and are seeking a Project Manager who can effectively lead, organize, and support on-site operations.

Project Location & Context

Location: Approx. 1.5 hours from Stockholm, Sweden

Project Type: Apartment renovations and various construction works

Project Duration: Minimum 18 months (ongoing)

Employment: Swedish employment contract with full work permit support

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of 5–15 Romanian construction workers

Plan, organize, and coordinate daily on-site activities

Manage schedules, timeframes, and task prioritization

Oversee materials planning, ordering, and usage

Ensure quality standards and timely project completion

Handle basic project documentation, reporting, and spreadsheets

Act as the main point of coordination between site teams and management

Required Qualifications

Fluent Romanian and English (spoken and written)

Proven experience in construction project management

Strong leadership and team coordination skills

Experience with apartment renovation projects is an advantage

Ability to work independently and manage multiple daily priorities

Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

EU work authorization required

International construction experience is considered a plus
